We have been getting a lot of questions about Parkour Scenario Night so here are some answers.
PK Night has been traceur tested, it isn't new, but it will be new to you!
History: Last year a group of hardcore Traceurs which was comprised mostly of instructors took a class called Martial Parkour. It was brutal and it was fun. So, what we did for you was take all of the brutal out and make the fun...well, more fun. This doesn't mean it's easy, it's like a series of challenge classes with a mission attached.
At the start: Everyone will be in the lobby and briefed on their mission. One-by-one the participants will enter the room and complete their objective. After the first mission is over everyone will head back to the lobby, go through an after action review and gear up for the next mission. While everyone is being briefed my crew will be setting up the gym into a completely different environment. The second mission is for teams so everyone will have the opportunity to pair up and pick mission assignments (roles).
Videogame-like: Make sure you pick a partner that wants to be in the same degree of difficult as you. What? Degree of difficulty? That's right. You will be able to choose between: Parkour Newb (No special equipment required) Parkour Hotshot (Must wear safety glasses, provided) Parkour Ace (Must wear safety mask, provided)
Let me remind you that it is for Ages 13+ or 10+ with an adult participant (that means that anyone under 13 must partner with their adult participant during the second mission).
Well, I want to leave some surprises so I wish you luck, Matt out!
